
Sohan L. Dua, M.D., a board-certified internist and nephrologist, was trained under Dr. Shaul Massry, the prior Chief of Nephrology at USC, and accompanied Dr. Massry when he transferred the program from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to USC. Dua has been involved in clinical teaching and bench research and has been practicing nephrology in the San Fernando Valley since his training at USC. Dua has been on the clinical faculties of the USC and UCLA Schools of Medicine, and has been Chief of Staff and member of the Board of Governors of Granada Hills Community Hospital. He and his wife, Kiran, also a physician, have three children, and he was recently joined by one of his daughters, Dr. Renee Dua, who trained at the USC Division of Nephrology as well. Together, they are involved in the very active research division of Valley Renal Medical Group, conducting several clinical trials.
