Mission Statement

UKRO’s mission is to support medical research related to the prevention, treatment, and eradication of kidney disease.

Vision Statement

To create the pre-eminent kidney research institute on the West Coast while continuing UKRO’s mission of supporting medical research to:

  • identify the causes of kidney disease
  • improve the existing treatments for kidney ailments
  • find a cure for kidney disease

UKRO (University Kidney Research Organization) is a registered charity 501(c) (3), Federal Tax I.D. No. 03-0459723. UKRO was formally known as University Kidney Disease Research Associates.
