A nonspecific disorder that occurs when the kidney’s glomeruli are damaged, causing leakage of protein into the urine and edema. The kidney ailments MCG and FSGS are causes of this syndrome. The term MCG or Minimal Change Disease is often used interchangeably with Nephrotic Syndrome.
