The Jewish Journal has published an article online and in print about UKRO founder Ken Kleinberg, exploring his personal battle with kidney disease, the origins of the nonprofit, and the vital importance of funding kidney research. The story features Vito M. Campese, M.D., professor and chief of the division of nephrology and hypertension at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, as well as UKRO CFO Ron Taubman, who recounts his experience with kidney failure and transplantation after more than 40 years as a Type 1 diabetic.
