It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a treasured member of the UKRO family, our long-time board member Carol Peters. Carol spent more than 40 years in the music industry, serving in executive positions at both major and independent labels. For more than 20 years, she was a personal manager for major recording artists including the Bee Gees, John Mellencamp, En Vogue, Heart, Deana Carter, and the Go-Go’s. She was an amazing mentor, great friend, and role model for so many. Carol was always willing to share her creativity, keen insight, intelligence, and invaluable expertise with us. We will miss her beautiful smile, generosity, humor, and most of all her vibrant, indomitable spirit. We send deepest sympathy to her family and all who loved her.
