We are happy to announce that Janos Peti-Peterdi, M.D., Ph.D., Professor of Physiology and Biophysics, and Medicine at the Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California has been recommended for membership by the council of the American Society for Clinical Investigation for his pioneering research on kidney disease. The ASCI is an honor society of physician-scientists, translating findings in the lab to the advancement of clinical practice. Founded in 1908, the Society is home to more than 3,000 members in the upper ranks of academic medicine and industry. Dr. Peti-Peterdi’s formal induction will be held at the ASCI/AAP joint meeting in April 24-26, 2015 in Chicago. He will join 19 other ASCI members from USC.
